Privacy and data protection
- General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
This is general guidance, not legal advice. ResearchDart never receives survey answers, which keeps sensitive data inside your survey platform.
Quota geography
Five macro-regions (North, Northeast, Center-West, Southeast, South), with the Southeast carrying the largest share of the online population.
Time zones and timing
Four time zones; most of the population lives on Brasília time.
Fielding notes
- Brazil speaks Portuguese; a Spanish questionnaire will not work.
- Social class is commonly defined with the ABEP Brazil Criterion (Critério Brasil) rather than income alone.
- Online sample over-represents urban and higher-income groups; weight or quota accordingly.
Setting up a Brazil project
Create the project with country BR and the survey language. If you field more than one language, create one project per language so quotas and incidence are tracked separately.
